Ingredients of European Brownies
- It's 250 grams of unsweetened chocolate.
- It's 55 grams of cocoa powder (unsweetened).
- Prepare 250 grams of granulated sugar.
- You need 140 grams of unsalted butter.
- You need 3 large of eggs.
- It's 3 grams of salt.
- You need 160 grams of all-purpose flour.
- You need 1 tsp of vanilla extract.
- It's 70 grams of chopped walnuts.
European Brownies instructions
- Melt butter and chocolate together in a bain-marie (double saucepan), remove from heat.
- Add cocoa powder and stir to avoid lumps, allow to cool.
- In a bowl beat eggs together with sugar, salt and vanilla extract.
- Now slowly add flour (to this last eggs+sugar+salt mix) and keep stirring.
- Add also melted chocolate and butter to the same bowl.
- When the mixture is homogenous add walnuts.
- Line a square baking pan with parchment paper and grease it.
- Put your homemade mix in the pan and cook for 35 minutes at 180°C.
- Let the brownie rest for an hour then take it out of the pan and cut in squares!.
