- Prepare 2 tsp of Coco powder.

In a pan, heat ghee & fry the dal paste on a low flame until it turns golden brown. Since we are already cooking the moong dal in milk, we can reduce the amount of ghee used in the recipe.
Moong dal chocolate cake instructions
- Soak mung dal for 5-6hours.
- Then grind it to a fine paste Take 1tbsp of mungdal paste and keep aside for maling mungdal rabdi.
- Take a vessel add oil add powderd sugar in it along with milkmade beat them for 2minuts.
- Add coco powder in it mix well.
- Add mungdal paste in it and mix well make a batter.
- Add milk and Vanilla essence, adjust consistency of batter.
- Add baking powder and baking soda in it mix well.
- Pour this batter in greased cake tin and bake it for 30-35 minutes I have baked it in idli cooker.
- After 30min.Check with tooth pick if it comes out clean then it is done.
- Let it cools down properly then demould it.
- For garnishing first we have to make mungdal rabdi for that heat 1cup milk in a pan add sugar as per taste and 1tbsp of mungdal paste in it mix well and cook.
- Add vanilla essence in it and cook till mixture thicken well Then switch off flame and let it cools down completly.
- For chocolate gnAche heat cream in a pan And remove from flame.
- Add grated dark chocolate in it and mix well let it cool down.
- Chocolate ganache and mungdal rabdi is ready for cake garnishing.
- Decorate cake as per your choice and imagination.
- Sprikle some chopped pistachio and silver balls and ready to serve.
