Pound Cake instructions
- Begin by beating the butter on low speed and add the cream cheese after couple of minutes.
- I kept the speed on low and continued until it was blended well.
- While beating, add sugar, vanilla and salt and beat on medium speed for 5mins until it is light and fluffy.
- Next, add the eggs one at a time and continue beating.
- Now its time for the dry ingredients, turn the speed to low, and add the flour.
- Beat the batter until well blended and smooth.
- Once you have accomplished this, its time to bake.
- Butter your cake pan well.
- If you have a 10 inch cake pan, pour it all in, if not divide the quantity and bake.
- Shake pan gently to distribute the batter.
- Add the sliced almonds on top and its time for the oven.
- Bake the cake in a 300F oven for 1hr 15mins or until the cake is done.
