Brownies step by step
- Using the double boiler method or microwave, melt the dark chocolate well.
- Preheat the oven and grease a Square baking tin/ dish.
- While the chocolate is still hot, add the melted butter and vanilla to it and whisk well to combine.
- In another bowl, sieve together the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder and sugar.
- Mix well and add the melted dark chocolate.
- Fold in well after adding just enough milk to create a thick batter.
- Add the mixture to the baking tin and tap the bottom gently to even out the mixture in the tin(you do not have to use a spatula to even the surface).
- Bake till done at 180 degrees celcius roughly for 30-40 minutes.
- Check by inserting a toothpick if the brownie is ready.
- Let cool and demould.
- Cut into cubes and store airtight.
