- Prepare your ingredients.
- For the wet ingredients Cream your margarine/butter and sugar together until very light and fluffy.
- Whip in one egg at a time as you mix them in. Add in your vanilla essence..
- For the dry ingredients: sieve in the self raising flour and cocoa powder together.
- Add them to the wet ingredients and fold in till well incorporated. Lastly add in the roughly chopped chocolate chunks.
- Grease a square/rectangular pan and line with parchment paper (optional).
- Add the brownie batter and bake at 180•C for 12-15 minutes. Check the doneness with a skewer or toothpick.
